Postdoc scholar (2025-)
My postdoctoral research focus on enhancing extreme rainfall prediction over the Yangtze River basins across multiple timescales, leveraging global numerical models (e.g., ICON and MPAS). I obtained my B.S. degree in atmospheric science and Ph.D. in geophysics from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2020 and 2025, respectively.
Ph.D. student

Linhui Li
Ph.D. student (2023-)
I am a Ph.D. student at Fudan University, majoring in atmospheric science, with broad interests in climate dynamics, extreme weather and influence of global warming. My current research focuses on interactions between tropical air-sea system and Arctic air-ice-sea system, particularly investigating their responses to global warming and corresponding impacts on extreme weather. Prior to Fudan University, I got my master’s and bachelor’s degree in atmospheric science from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) and Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, respectively.

Yuanhao Chen
Ph.D. student (2024-)
I am a PhD student in the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Science at Fudan University. My research interest lies on urban climate effect, primarily focusing on the future urban climate change and the impact of urbanization on heatwave events . I graduated with a master’s degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology in 2023, and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Atmospheric Science (Atmospheric Environment) from the same university in 2020.

Xinghan Liu
Ph.D. student (2024-)
I am pursuing a PhD in Atmospheric Science at Fudan University. My research interest is the impact of sea level rise on the coastal areas of mainland China in the context of global warming. I graduated from the College of Meteorology and Oceanography at the National University of Defense Technology in 2024 with a B.S. in Atmospheric Science.

Tao Su
Ph.D. student (2025-)
I am pursuing a PhD in Atmospheric Science at Fudan University. My research interests focus on the characteristics of heatwaves in response to global warming and their health impacts. I graduated from Hehai University in 2025 with a Master’s degree in Hydraulic Engineering. In 2022, I graduated from Yangzhou University with a Bachelor’s degree in Hydraulic and Hydropower Engineering.

Meng Su
Ph.D. student (2025-)
I am currently pursuing a PhD in Atmospheric Science at Fudan University, with a research focus on the relationship between extreme humid-heat events and human health. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology from the School of Atmospheric Science at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, and am now furthering my academic journey at Fudan through doctoral research.

Qing Feng
Master student (2024-)
I’m pursuing a Master’s Degree in Atmospheric Science at Fudan University. My research interest focuses on the impact of climate change on human health in urban areas. I am currently investigating how thunderstorms influence asthma rates in the Shanghai region. I have analyzed the relationship between cold wave occurrences and cardiovascular disease incidence using meteorological and health data. I graduated from Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology with my bachelor’s degree in Atmospheric Science in 2024.
